The Ocean Conservation Trust is a charity focussed on habitat restoration and behaviour change, that owns and runs the National Marine Aquarium, the UK’s largest aquarium. Our vision is of a world supporting a healthy ocean to sustain all life with a mission of ‘Connecting us with our Ocean’.
The Ocean Conservation Trust at the National Marine Aquarium is looking to recruit a BoH Operations Assistant to work with the BoH Operations department providing support to the Head of Asset Transformation and Net Zero in the delivery of all BoH operations. You will be joining a passionate team of people who care about marine conservation and customer care in one of the South West’s top visitor attractions.
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of asset and facilities management and improvements, engineering services, ICT, health, safety & environment and ad-hoc support of a wide range of projects. The candidate will need to be quick to learn, with an aptitude for technical systems, have a good attention to detail and be able to communicate well at all levels both verbally and in writing, be practical, ‘hands-on’ and physically fit.
This is a permanent role, working Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM or similar where some flexibility will be required. The salary is £24,210 pa.
