Britain’s Ocean City Running Festival, consisting of the Plymouth Half, Plymouth 10k and Plymouth 5k takes place on Sunday 28th April 2024 from 8:00am.

All three races will start and finish on Plymouth Hoe, with thousands of athletes due to take part! Being located in Sutton Harbour, we will experience some disruption for part of the day, however we will highlight best alternative options so your day can be planned accordingly!

The graphic below highlights all of the road closures for the entire marathon. We sit on Lockyers Key road, just off of Commercial Street. These roads will be closed from around 8am onwards when the marathon starts. We will become accessible, by car and foot, via Lockyers Key Road after 2pm on Sunday. We will still be accessible via the Mayflower Steps side of the Barbican. This route only allows people on foot as there is no car access.

PARKING

The closest carpark, Harbour Carpark on Lockyers Key Road, will be inaccessible before 2pm. After 2pm, when all roads are planned to be reopen, you will be able to use this carpark. In the meantime this graphic highlights the nearest and more accessible carparks to the NMA. Drake Circus Carpark is closest by foot, but still a 20 minute walk to us.

More detailed information on all road closures can be found here: runplymouth.co.uk/road-closures/
