The UK’s leading Aquarium needs some experts people behind the scenes and here at the National Marine Aquarium, we have a World Class team of them!
Our Animal Husbandry team are made up of experts from around the world who specialise in looking after Ocean animals. No only do the team work tirelessly to keep our animals fit and healthy, but they dive in our exhibits to feed and clean too.
But looking after Ocean animals isn’t just about cleaning tanks, the team have expertise in conditioning our large animals to feed and also have successful breeding programmes and vital Ocean research.

The National Marine Aquarium (NMA) is the UK’s largest aquarium, located in Britain’s Ocean City, Plymouth. It is run by the Ocean Conservation Trust, a charity dedicated to connecting people with the Ocean.
